The State of Indiana, the Federal Government, and the Steuben County SWCD provide several Conservation Programs that provide cost-share assistance to applicants. The goal of cost-share assistance is to make conservation practices more economical for landowners. Conservation practices range from hay planting to land preservation.
All programs and services of the soil and water conservation district and its partnership agencies are offered on a non-discriminatory basis without regard to race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, gender identity (including gender expression), sexual orientation, marital status, familial status, parental status, religion, genetic information, political beliefs, reprisal, or because all or part of an individual’s income is derived from any public assistance program.
