Managing Stormwater in the Home Landscape

At least 50% of the water quality problems in the United States result from stormwater runoff.  Stormwater, such as rain and snowmelt, should infiltrate into the ground, but with urban landscapes increasing the amount of impervious surfaces, the stormwater runs off into local waterbodies.

Natural vs. Urban landscape runoff and infiltration

Check out our new video Managing Stormwater in the Home Landscape to learn how you can reduce the impacts of stormwater runoff on your property.
