2021 USDA NRCS Local Working Group Meeting

The USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS), in partnership with the Steuben County Soil and Water Conservation District, will be holding their annual Local Working Group meeting at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 in the multi-purpose room of the Steuben County Community Center (317 S. Wayne Street, Angola, IN 46703).

The Local Working Group is comprised of various Federal, State, and Local government agencies who provide conservation services to Steuben County residents; the public is welcome to attend.

This meeting prioritizes resource concerns for Steuben County that will be used to determine funding for 2022 EQIP and CSP cost share applications.

Residents who would like to participate should RSVP to the Steuben County SWCD by September 7, 2021 to ensure we have enough materials available.

The monthly Steuben County Soil and Water Conservation District meeting is generally held on the second Wednesday of each month and is open to the public.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the meetings are being held at the Steuben County Community Center Multi-purpose room in Angola.  Please join us at 317 S. Wayne Street.
