Turkey Creek

Turkey Creek is a HUC 12 sub-watershed of Pigeon Creek, located in the Southwestern portion of the county.  The main channel starts in DeKalb County and enters Steuben County just east of Helmer, flows northwest, then exits the county just north of Stroh. Turkey Creek then drains into the St. Joseph River, which flows through Elkhart, Indiana, and outlets into Lake Michigan. The area contains several lakes, of which Big Turkey Lake is the largest.
